Novembient was conceived as a challenge. The goal was to create an original piece of ambient music for each day of the month of November 2019. To keep up such a fast pace all the pieces were recorded live using hardware synthesisers . Most tracks were produced using the Novation K-Station as it has an onboard arpeggiator and effects, but some pieces used the Novation Circuit, Novation Ultranova or Novation Bass Station 2. All recording was quickly achieved with the Zoom H1 recorder and mastering was limited to a subtle amount of compression in Audicity.
